Reddy to compete in junior French Open qualifiers


Chennai: Chennai girl Snehadevi Reddy would be India's lone entry at the junior French Open as she will be strive to make the main draw of the girls event through qualifiers, beginning June 2.

Reddy had won the girls event of the Asian Closed Junior Championship last month and trained for a week at the 4Slam Tennis Academy in Barcelona, before proceeding to Paris.

TNTA Vice President Karti P Chidambaram said, "TNTA is making all efforts to support and encourage the players and we hope Snehadevi will do well."
