Army sends 23 girl students on education tour under 'Operation Sadbhavana'


JAMMU: Army today sent a group of 23 girl students of Rajouri district on educational-cum-motivational tour under "Operation Sadbhavana".

The tour was flagged-off by Sector Commander, Tain Sector Rashtriya Rifles, from Kalakote in Rajouri district today, a defence spokesman said here.

The tour is being organised as part of the ongoing Operation Sadbhavana for girl students of Kalakote and Mahogala in the district, he said.

The aim of the tour is to showcase the country's development to the students, as also to provide them with an opportunity to visit important places of interest and interact with the people of those regions, he added.

The students will visit to Nainital, Dehradun, Mussoorie and Haridwar, besides a stop over at Delhi, the spokesman added.
